Anzac Day Graphic Design

On the 24\3\2016 some of Grill 2.0 kids did an Anzac day Graphic Design. This one is my best out of all the Anzac Day Graphic Designs I did. I kept building on my ideas and this Graphic Design isthe one I picked, because it was the best. 

The first one I did had a big lest we forget in the middle of it and the colour of it was black. I made the poppy's dimmer on the 5th one I made the lest we forget grey and made it dimmer and that made it look like it was a part of the sky. I also made it a softer font.

I learned how to make a graphic design in Keynote. I learned how to use the alpha tool and layer images. 

I chose a poppy field because that is what the soldiers saw when the war ended. I put the soldiers walking through it. I wanted a grey sky because it makes it feel more sad like the war. 

I am really proud of my design. What do you think?

My favorite place to learn in GRill 2.0

In GRill 2.0 we have 4 places to learn;
 1: The hub
2: The hide out
3: The hang out
4: The hall of fame (yes I know they all start with the letter H).

My favourite learning place in GRill 2.0 is the hub (the main class room).  Most of the time you will find me in the right corner of the room next to the pink desk by the speaker where Miss G puts her computer to play music. You would think that it would be loud next to the speaker but its not.

I enjoy learning there because its out of the way and if Mr R or Miss G call out my name I can hear a lot better then being in the the Hide out.  Even though the Hide Out is meant to be quiet the Hub is sometimes quieter.  Its a good place to sit in a group or by yourself depending on what work you are doing.

We are so lucky to have so many different spaces in our classroom and the option of choosing where we sit.  I think that being able to choose where I sit to do my work really helps me learn.
